Alexander Schwitteck

I’m a political theorist and historian of political thought with a focus on the work of Immanuel Kant, the liberal and republican political tradition and contemporary political theory. I’m currently Fellow at the Center for Liberal Modernity in Berlin and PhD candidate at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University Bonn supervised by Prof. Dr. Christoph Horn.  Furthermore, I teach at the University of Witten/Herdecke as an external lecturer for Political and Social Theory.


I hold a Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Political Theory from the London School of Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor Degree (B.A.) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Witten/Herdecke (UWH).
